MSA Bristol Uniforms is a leading supplier of Fire Fighters PPE.
As well as supplying PPE to Brigades around the world we also Maintain many UK Fire Brigades Fire Fighting Uniforms.
At our Rainham branch we are looking for someone to join our busy night shift team in looking after this PPE.
In this role, you will be responsible for repairing garments using a sewing machine, you will also at times be required to inspect and pack garments in the service centre should you be needed.
This role does enquire any candidates to fulfill a 20-30 mins trial period to get an understanding on experince using the machines.
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining various types of machinery, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and take initiative in order to ensure the accuracy of all machining operations. The successful candidate will be expected to work with a variety of materials and tools, and must possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools such as overlock surge, flat bed
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Monitor machine operations to detect problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.00-£12.30 per hour
